It seems like an interesting juxtaposition of a history of violence and myth with the basic human desire for a house and home.  There's definitely a difference in how their stories come out in the music.  

I really like this song and video by Fleet Foxes about Mykonos.  Maybe there's something that binds it to the others (or, meh, maybe not).
